Today I got the highest score I have ever gotten in dopewars for the palm. I got $169,636,441. It was during a meeting. I tried to submit it to the website for dopewars, but it didn't work :( I had another meeting today with Sun representatives talking up there new Sun Blade 8000 series and there 4500 and 4600 series. Pretty sweet machines. Way more powerful than anything I need right now though.
Kat started working for Montgomery county hospital on monday. She already hates it. I was hoping she would last at least a few months, but what can you do. I have been modding out linux on my laptop so that it is more windows-user friendly. I am trying to convince Kat to use it. It took forever to figure out all the packages I needed to compile DRI for my video card. ATI does not support it because it's a piece of crap. You cannot get shockwave for linux! Fuck you Adobe/Macromedia/whatever. Bastards. BioWare makes a linux client for Neverwinter Nights. I spent last night just downloading the file. It's 1.12 GB!! It took 3.5 hours over my dsl. Unfortunately my DSL sucks a lotta ass because the wiring in my house was done by some retard. I really should replace all of the wiring, but it's not something I have been focused on. I would rather get static IP FIOS. It's available, but I have to get my money situation worked out with Kat first.
We got another baby turtle, and I named him spinach because he has a bright green back. He's a yellow bellied, red-eared slider. He's terrified of the other turtle, Icarus, because he is about half the size. He hasn't been eating and I am worried that he won't start eating anytime soon. I can't wait to get out of this cramped little flourescent lumination box of isolation.
